Father Hygi was ordained in 1995 and serves as the administrator of St. Jerome.

He was an associate pastor at St. Andrew’s in Bridgeport as well as chaplain in Bridgeport and St. Vincent’s Hospital.

Father Dave was ordained in 1982 and served as Pastor of St. Jerome from 1994 until his retirement in May 2019. He holds a Doctorate in Ministry from the Catholic University of America and enjoys kayaking and reading. His passions include St. Jerome Parish, Education, and Hope and CONECT.New Paragraph

Rev. Michael Hoag, S.J.
Sunday Assistant


Rev. Michael R. Hoag, S.J., has been Weekend Assistant at St. Jerome since 1978. He taught English at Xavier High School in New York City, NY, and St. Peter’s Prep School in Jersey City, NJ before retiring from teaching. From 2008 to 2014, he was Parochial Vicar at St. Jerome. Currently, he works at Jogues Retreat Center in Cornwall, NY.New Paragraph
