Our Clergy
Fr. Rojin Karickal is a priest from the Archdiocese of Tellicherry, Kerala, India. He was ordained in 2009. Fr. Rojin joined the Diocese of Bridgeport in July 2015.
In May 2019 he was installed as Pastor of St. Jeromes by Bishop Frank Caggiano.
After receiving three Bachelor Degrees, he earned an MBA in Bangalore, India and presently is pursuing a doctoral degree in management. His spiritual insights, communication skills, and ability to relate to people provide distinct skills in his pastoral ministry. Being passionate in his ministry, Fr. Rojin is also interested in traveling, games, and technology.
Rev. Rojin KarickalFather Dave is a priest of the Diocese of Bridgeport, ordained in 1982. He came to St. Jerome on January 1st, 1994 and became Pastor in April of that year. He holds a Doctorate in Ministry from Catholic University of America. He retired as Pastor in May 2019 after 25 years of service.
His hobbies include kayaking and reading, and the three things in his life about which he is most passionate are St. Jerome Parish, Education and Hope and CONECT.
Rev. David BlanchfieldRev. Michael R. Hoag, S.J., has been serving at St. Jerome as Weekend Assistant since 1978, while teaching English at Xavier high School in New York City, NY and St. Peter’s Prep School in Jersey City, NJ. After retiring from teaching,
he was Parochial Vicar at St. Jerome from 2008 to 2014. He is currently working at Jogues Retreat Center in Cornwall NY.
